Two-time FIBA European Champions Cup champion Cibona officially confirmed their participation in the 2026–27 edition of the Basketball Champions League on Friday, following a successful season culminating in Croatia’s SuperSport Premijer Liga title. Alongside their updated continental status and domestic title defense, the Zagreb outfit also returns to the AdmiralBet ABA League. The BCL body is expected to release the full, definitive list of the upcoming Regular Season and Qualification Rounds over the coming days once all domestic Playoffs across the Old Continent reach their conclusion.

Projected participants have accelerated their roster rebuilds. Cholet finalized two major perimeter additions, securing former NBA first-round draft pick Tony Snell on a one-year contract following his efficient three-point shooting campaign at fellow Betclic Elite side Boulazac, while also locking in guard Noah Locke for his continental debut.

Also, Surne Bilbao bolstered their rotation by penning Nate Darling to a one-year deal, capitalizing on the former Charlotte Hornets player’s previous experience with Elan Chalon. Last season, the Canadian shooting guard tallied 12.8 points per contest over 13 appearances in the Champions League.

In Greece, Kolossos H Hotels Collection strengthened their frontcourt by inking forward Rocky Kreuser. Meanwhile, Igokea m:tel focused on long-term development by securing versatile young swingman Lazar Stefanovic on a multi-year contract.

Across Central Europe, Opava landed Jalen Montgomery as their first offseason reinforcement, while Fitness First Wurzburg Baskets completed two significant roster moves, securing Brandon Tischler and Max Jones on matching two-year deals to ensure depth across all positions.
