The Basketball Champions League ecosystem witnessed two critical roster reinforcements on Tuesday, as title-contenders and Qualification Rounds hopefuls alike aggressively structured their squads for the upcoming 2026–2027 season.
Fresh off securing their domestic title, Germany’s easyCredit BBL champions ALBA Berlin finalized a major backcourt acquisition by signing 28-year-old American combo guard Jordan Ford to a one-year contract. The versatile 1.85-meter guard, highly regarded for his potent offensive skill set and previous professional stints across the NBA, G-League, and various European leagues, arrives with recent continental pedigree. At the top of the 2025–26 season, prior to joining Bahcesehir Koleji in the BKT EuroCup, he logged five BCL appearances with Trapani Shark.
“I’m really excited to be playing for the club this year, and I’m looking forward to playing for a team that has such a rich history and a winning culture. I’ve also heard amazing things about the city, and I’m looking forward to experiencing that myself,” he noted, expressing his enthusiasm for the move to the Albatrosse.
Welcome to ALBA, Jordan Ford 💛💙

Standing at 2.04 meters tall, the Spanish power forward can smoothly transition to small forward, offering the Galician squad elite defensive size, high basketball intelligence, and exceptional rebounding. A seasoned veteran who developed at the Estudiantes youth academy, the Madrid native went from nine seasons with his parent club to briefer spells across several fellow clubs of his home country. Last season with Hestia Menorca in the Primeira FEB league, he averaged 8.3 points and 4.9 rebounds.
Having played 35 BCL games between Movistar Estudiantes and Lenovo Tenerife, Vicedo provides crucial veteran experience and reliable outside shooting to solidify Breo’s European ambitions.
