The Basketball Champions League ecosystem experienced a major burst of transfer activity on Wednesday, highlighted by a multi-party agreement involving Dutch rising star Yannick Kraag.
Asisa Joventut announced that the 23-year-old guard-forward exercised his release clause to officially sign with EuroLeague’s Dubai, securing his place as part of their ambitious long-term project. However, his personal desire to continue developing within Penya proved decisive. All three parties subsequently agreed to a structure that allows the explosive, versatile modern wing to remain in Badalona on loan for the 2026–27 season.
Kraag, who debuted in Spain’s Liga Endesa at just 18 years old, has already amassed 142 top-division appearances. Last season, he proved his high-level capabilities in the Basketball Champions League by averaging 7.6 points and 5.5 rebounds while shooting 38% from beyond the arc. He will look to carry that momentum into Joventut’s upcoming continental assignment in Group H of the Regular Season, where they are set to clash with Bnei Penlink Herzliya, Porto, and Telekom Baskets Bonn.

Meanwhile, roster building intensified in Greece as Peristeri Betsson finalized a one-year contract with 27-year-old guard Jalen Finch. Marking his debut in the Champions League, the newcomer brings valuable European experience to the team coached by Vassilis Xanthopoulos, having played professionally in Germany, Belgium, and Serbia since launching his pro career in 2023.
Peristeri, has aggressively constructed a formidable roster for their upcoming European campaign. Finch joins a squad that recently reinforced its core by re-signing key contributors Will Carius, Alexandros Thomakos, Alexandros Nikolaidis, Ty Nichols, and Omar Payne, while also securing the addition of Grace Ngindu.
