UCAM Murcia clarifies David DeJulius’ situation. The talented point guard, after putting together a strong season with Sito Alonso’s side, left for Besiktas, who will compete in the EuroLeague for the first time this season.
Following a dispute over his contractual situation in Murcia, the Spanish club stated on Saturday, September 12, confirming that DeJulius remains part of the team and will join Besiktas on loan:
UCAM Murcia CB wishes to announce that, following an agreement reached by all parties involved, the contract binding David DeJulius to the club has been ratified, with UCAM Murcia CB retaining its contractual rights over the player.
With this matter resolved, the club has reached an agreement with Besiktas to loan David DeJulius for one season—a deal for which UCAM Murcia CB will receive financial compensation.
