Fresh off helping JL Bourg win the BKT EuroCup championship, 28-year-old Tajuan Agee joined Sabah in the Basketball Champions League.
The deal was announced on Monday.
Per the press release: “Sabah Basketball Club has reached an agreement with American center/power forward Tajuan Agee. Agee has signed a contract with the club until the end of the season.
The 28-year-old Agee, who stands at 203 cm, joins Sabah after spending the 2025/26 season with French club JL Bourg. During his time with Bourg, Agee helped the team win the EuroCup.
Agee began his professional career in Europe in 2020 with Bulgarian side Balkan Botevgrad. He later played for Maccabi Ashdod in Israel and RASTA Vechta in Germany, where he was part of the team that earned promotion to the German top division. He also spent part of the 2021/22 season with the Hawke’s Bay Hawks in New Zealand.
In 2023, Agee moved to France, joining BCM Gravelines-Dunkerque. He spent two seasons with the club before moving to JL Bourg in November 2025.
The American forward has considerable experience in European competitions. In the 2021 FIBA Europe Cup, he averaged 10.4 points and 6.8 rebounds per game with Balkan. He also played in the competition with Gravelines-Dunkerque in 2024, while making an appearance in the Basketball Champions League Qualification Round in 2021, recording 19 points and 7 rebounds.
During the 2025/26 EuroCup season with JL Bourg, Agee averaged 6.5 points and 3.2 rebounds in 15 appearances.

With the Azerbaijani side automatically qualified for Group A of the Regular Season, where they are slated to face defending champions Rytas, Nanterre 92, and Trabzonspor, the Bakken Bears are preparing for their Qualification Rounds Tournament. Shortly before launching their bid in Samokov, they confirmed Sunday that 21-year-old Filip Ates will be returning to the squad.
