A flurry of late roster adjustments across the Basketball Champions League, a few days ahead of the opening round of the Regular Season.

On Friday, Bnei Penlink Herzliya announced a reunion with Shoham Gat. The 24-year-old point guard penned a short-term contract to cover for injured Amit Menachem. Head coach Yehu Orland needs Gat to step in immediately alongside Imri Billet, DJ Brewton III, Zach Bryant, DJ Burns Jr., Noah Carter, Ilane Fibleuil, Daeshon Francis, Amit Gershon, Dusty Hannahs, Emery Kagan, Nathan Knight, Kai Obziler, and Roy Solomon. Starting from Badalona on Tuesday, the Israeli side faces a demanding campaign in Group H against Asisa Joventut, Porto, and Telekom Baskets Bonn.

Meanwhile, BMA365 Bamberg Baskets secured their future by inking 20-year-old talent Musa Abra to a three-year contract on Monday. The German junior national team standout joins an established core that features Jonathan Bahre, Richard Balint, Yuval Hochstadter, Jordan Jones, Daniel Keppeler, Benjamin Koppke, Jakob Lang, Jonas Mendl, Joshua Obiesie, Trevon Scott, Brendan Terry, Hason Ward, Mylik Wilson, and Jordan Wright. With BCL’s opening week featuring a visit to Peristeri Betsson, head coach Jesus Ramirez counts on this depth for their Group D matches against the Greek side, UCAM Murcia, and Openjobmetis Varese.

In a different move, SIG Strasbourg parted ways with Jake Forrester on Wednesday. The 27-year-old forward-center quickly started his next chapter, leaving the French club to join Promitheas Vikos Cola. His relocation shifts his focus from the Champions League to the FIBA Europe Cup.
