The qualifications for the Champions League competition for the 2017-2018 season started today.

The first round of qualifiers included teams battling from all over Europe for a chance to compete in this tournament. The games are double-knockout and the best aggregate score advanced to the next round.

All the teams playing on the road won the day and received an advantage for the second game. Riesen Ludwigsburg has the upper hand in the matchup against Bosna Sarajevo with a 59-95 victory. There are some matchups, that will be competitive in the second game coming this Thursday, like Groningen vs. Vytautas and Kapfenberg vs. Benfica but it seems as a couple of games have already been decided.
