Javi Juarez is the new coach of UCAM Murcia after winning the last two junior Spanish championships with the youth team of Real Madrid.
Juarez is considered a specialist in the development of young players and he had an impact on the growth of players like Luka Doncic, Dino Radoncic, Felipe Dos Anjos, Willy Hernangómez and Alex Abrines.
He has a 15 years experience as a coach, but this will be his first team as a head coach in the Spanish Liga Endesa and also in the Basketball Champions League, where Murcia is expected to compete. He will be also part of the summer league coaching staff of the Utah Jazz.
