As Eurohoops sources mention, the deal is done between coach Dusko Ivanovic and Besiktas. The two sides will engage in a multi-year contract with an option for both sides after this season, while the official announcement is expected soon.
Besiktas chose Ivanovic to replace Ufuk Sarica, with whom the team parted ways as prior reported.
Ivanovic is one of the most well-established coaches in Europe, being a two-time Spanish League champion with Baskonia and also a French league champion with Limoges, with tenures in Panathinaikos and Khimki.
