Austin Daye and Gasper Vidmar teamed up to beat Joshua Mayo

Venezia lost a 14-point advantage in the Day 5 game of Group B of the Basketball Champions League, but managed to beat Bonn 94-84 in a very tough match in Germany.

Austin Daye’s clutch points brought his total up to 21, while Gasper Vidmar scored 12 points in the first half and 18 totally. Michael Bramos finished the match with 4/6 three-pointers and 16 points.

Joshua Mayo had 26 points and five three-pointers including a buzzer beater at the end of the first half, but only scored eight points in the second half.

The Germans also lost Bojan Subotic, who left the game after a left shoulder injury.

The result brought the Italian club to 4-1 in the BCL. The home team fell to 2-3.
