Murcia got the 80-71 away victory against Le Mans in the Basketball Champions League Round 8 match. The Spaniards didn’t create a big lead until the final stages, but retained control throughout the 40 minutes to send the BCL’s worst offense to its fourth straight Group A defeat.
Ovie Soko was instrumental at the Antares scoring 18 points with 5/7 from the field, his teammate Marcos Delia finished up with 14 points and Damjan Rudez added ten. Richard Hendrix posted a game-high 20 points for the losing side.
Javier Juarez’s team now has a 7-1 Champions League record. Eric Bartecheky’s club fell to 2-6.
