Defending Basketball Champions League champion AEK Athens announced the signing of American guard Jordan Theodore to a contract for the remainder of the season.

The 29-year-old player had been a free agent since his contract with Olimpia Milano was dissolved a week ago and will return to action after spending the first half of 2018-2019 on the sidelines since he was out of the Italian team’s roster.

By signing with AEK, Theodore will be back in the Basketball Champions League, the competition in which he won MVP in 2017 with Banvit, and will also make his first appearance in the Greek Basketball League.

In 2017-2018, Theodore averaged 11.6 points and 4.3 assists with Milano in his debut EuroLeague season.
