Venezia secures playoff spot after overtime win vs. Nanterre

Umana Reyer Venezia’s Andrea De Nicolao sent the game into overtime with a buzzer-beater and his squad used the opportunity to grab an 89-80 road win over Nanterre 92 on Day 13 of Basketball Champions League.

Nicolao finished the game with 11 points in addition to Mitchell Watt‘s 18 and Julyan Stone‘s 15 points. For Nanterre, Jeremy Senglin nailed game-high 25 points.

Venezia improved to a 9-4 record in Group B securing a playoff ticket for themselves as well as PAOK while Nanterre stayed at a 7-6 record.
