Kyle Singler parts ways with Tenerife, retires at 31

Kyle Singler and Iberostar Tenerife have parted ways, the club announced. The 31-year-old American forward requested contract termination as he intends to retire in order to attend to personal matters.

Singler played for Lucentum Alicante and Real Madrid before moving to the NBA where he played 363 games split between the Detroit Pistons and the Oklahoma City Thunder.

After six seasons in the US, he had a one-year stint with Obradoiro after which he joined Tenerife this summer. He banked a total of 24 points in the two games he played this season in the Spanish League.
