Jordan Theodore leaves Besiktas

Jordan Theodore thanked Besiktas Sompo Sigorta while announcing his departure via post on Instagram.

“I want to use this post to say thank you to the Besiktas management, staff, physio’s, coaches and my teammates,” noted the inaugural Basketball Champions League MVP, “Most of all the incredible fans. Unfortunately my time with you all has come to an end. I wish you all great health & success moving forward! Keep flying high eagles. Until we meet again!”

The former Seton Hall standout joined the Turkish club last July. Since posted 11.8 points, 5.6 dimes, 2.8 rebounds and 2 steals per BCL appearance. Also put up 15.1 points, 6.8 assists, 2.8 boards and 1.1 interceptions per Super Ligi contest.

A few days after Dusko Ivanovic parted ways with Besiktas, Theodore follows a similar path leaving the Black Eagles at 3-6 in Champions League and 5-8 in BSL.
