Telekom Baskets Bonn added Eugene Lawrence, the German side announced on Wednesday. The 33-year-old American point guard previously played with the North Rhine-Westphalia representative between 2014 and 2016.
The former St. John’s standout began his season in Greece with Ionikos Nikaias. Averaged 6.5 points, 4.3 assists, 3.8 rebounds and 1.3 steals per Basket League appearance.
Apart returning to Bonn, Lawrence will make his Basketball Champions League comeback as well following three campaigns from 2016 to 2019 with Nymburk.
The German outlet is currently first in Group D of BCL thanks to a 6-4 W-L tally. A 2-11 record so far in easyCredit BBL creates an entirely different situation in its domestic league.
