PAOK BC officially announced the end of its cooperation with head coach Jure Zdovc, closing his chapter on the Thessaloniki bench as the team approaches the decisive phase of the season.
Pantelis Boutskos has been appointed head coach until the end of the current campaign.
However, PAOK has already begun shaping its long-term plans. Andrea Trinchieri has emerged as the primary target to take over the team’s bench in the future. Soon the confirmation emerged.
PAOK has officially announced an agreement with Trinchieri, who will take over as head coach starting with the 2026–2027 season and will lead the team for the following three years.
The experienced Italian coach will immediately play an active role in the club’s strategic planning for the future. During the transitional period, Trinchieri will serve as an advisor, actively contributing to the organization and structure of the sporting department, laying the groundwork for an ambitious and modern project aimed at meeting the challenges in both Greece and Europe.
Trinchieri is expected to arrive in Thessaloniki on Wednesday, March 4, to begin his involvement with PAOK.
