Dennis Schroder is not traveling to Sweden for the FIBA World Cup Qualifiers and will undergo treatment in Germany, as the federation officially announced.

With Daniel Theis already out of the qualifiers and in danger of missing the Eurobasket, Schroder’s case seems to be different. He got an ankle injury during the game against the Czech Republic in the Hamburg Super Cup tournament, he missed the final against Serbia and it remains to be seen if he will be able to compete in the second game of the qualifiers at home against Luka Doncic’s Slovenia.

Meanwhile, Karim Jallow of Ratiopharm Ulm was cut from the roster leaving 13 players available at the moment.

Germany has more than its share of injuries with Maxi Kleber, Moe Wagner, and Isaac Bonga being already out for the summer.
