The FIBA World Cup is coming. most of the teams are in the final stage of preparation and that means exhibition games. In Pau, France, Greece got the 66-64 win over Serbia which played without Krstic, Teodosic and Nedovic behind 19 points of Giannis Bourousis. However the game will be remembered as the debut of the Giannis Antetokounmpo with the Greek senior team. He had energy, but didn’t scorer a point, even if he almost made a great buzzer beater (video).

France, the hosts of the tournament, got an impressive 81-71 win over Croatia. Boris Diaw was just a spectator for the winners, however the performance of Dario Saric once again was good news for the losing side.

In Klaipeda, Lithuania, Australia beat Finland 100-95 behind 20 points by former Maccabi Tel Aviv forward Joe Ingles while NBA champions Aaron Baynes added 12 points and 8 rebounds. Antero Lehto with 18 points was to top scorer of the losing side (Finland’s stats). The hosts got the 70-54 win over Ukraine which so far doesn’t remind much the impressive last summer team. Darius Lavrinovic with 19 points was the only double digits scorer for the winners, who are still playing without Jonas Valanciunas.
