Promitheas Patras finished its 7DAYS EuroCup regular-season run Wednesday with an 88-67 defeat to Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana and is making a push for the Greek Basket League playoffs with the addition of Conner Frankamp for the remainder of the season, confirming Eurohoops’ prior reports.

Frankamp parted ways with Zenit St Petersburg following the suspension of Russian clubs from EuroLeague Basketball competitions to return to Greece after spending the 2019-20 campaign with Rethymno Cretan Kings. He averaged 5.3 points, 1.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists across 8 VTB League games this season in 16.1 minutes on the court.

The 26-year-old point guard earned the Greek Basket League Top Scorer nods in 2020 before signing a deal with Murcia for the 2020-21 season.

In the meantime, Promitheas brought back Ioannis Agravanis who was loaned to Charilaos Trikoupis Messolonghi BC for the 2021-22 season. The Patras side has also parted ways with forward Charis Giannopoulos, who returned to Peristeri for the first since the 2011-12 season.
