Panathinaikos had the upper hand against Promitheas

In Round 16 of the Greek Basket League, both Olympiacos and Panathinaikos got the wins, respectively against Ionikos and Promitheas.

After the red-and-white victory, the Athens rivals got the upper hand against Promitheas, beating the EuroCup side 87-79 in OAKA. This is their 13th victory of the season in the domestic league.

Paris Lee led the way for the home side, collecting almost a double-double of 11 points and 9 assists, while Dwayne Bacon added 13 points and 4 rebounds.

The newest Panathinaikos additions, Matt Thomas and Dimitris Agravanis, respectively scored 6 and 12 points with 7 rebounds. On the losing side, Arnoldas Kulboka had 22 points and 7 rebounds.

Panathinaikos will now play against Kolossos Rodou in the quarterfinals of the Greek Cup on February 17 at 18:15 CET.
