Panathinaikos B.C. are still struggling to find their rhythm, and home losses continue to pile up.
Ergin Ataman’s team fell on their own court to Kolossos H Hotels by 97–102, a result that drew some boos at the Telekom Center Athens.
Tevin Mack (19 points) and David Nichols (17 points) were the standout performers for the visiting side.
Cedi Osman (19 points) was the top scorer for the home team.
The 23–31 scoreline at the end of the first quarter made it clear that the island team had traveled to the capital determined to claim the win. In fact, they trailed only briefly during the opening period and managed to withstand the hosts’ response.
Although the scoreboard showed 80–90 with just a few minutes remaining, Panathinaikos refused to give up and cut the deficit to tie the game at 94.
However, the visitors held firm, regained the lead, and secured the victory.
Yesterday, Olympiacos won its game thanks to Evan Fournier’s great game.
