Aris got the win, forced a Game 5 in the semis

Jerel McNeal (16 p.), Okaro White (10 p., 14 r.) and Dominic Waters (12 p., 5 as.) led Aris to a Game 5 in the Greek league semifinals after beating Panathinaikos in Game 4 (56-50) and tying the series at 2-2 wins.

With Aris leading 53-50, Elliot Williams missed twice a three which could have tied the game for Panathinaikos. McNeal made 1/2 free throws (54-50) and in the last 21 seconds, the guests missed one more shot, attempted by Vasilis Charampopoulos and Okaro White from the free throws line made the final score 56-50.

Despite playing without James Gist, James Feldeines and Marquez Haynes who were left out of the team for this game, Panathinaikos started the game with amazing defense, getting a 29-19 half time lead.

Things changed in the third period, which had a 19-5 partial score in favor of Aris. The hosts had a 45-37 lead in the 32nd minute, but Panathinaikos answered with 9-0 run (46-45). With four minutes left, the game was decided on details. Williams with 19 points was the top scorer of the winners.
