The fans of Olympiacos forced the game into a rough stop and evacuation of the arena, as Panathinaikos had already been named champion with a final 51-66 score.

More precisely, Panathinaikos and the game referees were forced to leave to court after multiple firecrackers were thrown two minutes before the end of the game. The gym was evacuated and the game eventually ended with the Greens being the champs.

The hosts were in charge of the game in the first period and led 17-14 after 10′, yet Xavi Pascual’s team build an advantage in the second period and went to the lockers with a 27-36 advantage.

Panathinaikos stepped into the second half way more energetically and managed to lead the course 27-44 at 24′ and the deficit even rose to 20 points a while later. The Greens were still in charge 37-57 after 30 minutes.

Olympiacos attempted a comeback to the game early in the final period, but a miracle could’t happen again for them.
