The Pacers and the Grizzlies got the home wins and lead 2-1 over the Knicks and the Thunder respectively in their conferences semifinals. In the Eastern series, the Pacers used Ian Mahimni for 6 minutes and he gave 2 points and 4 rebounds to his team. In the West, however, Marc Gasol had one more big game for the Grizzlies with 20 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists against a double double by Serge Ibaka (13 p., 10 r., 4 bl.) and 2 points, 2 assists and 4 rebounds by Thabo Sefolosha.
