The hosts, Bayern Munich, prevailed in Game 1 of the German BEKO BBL finals against Alba Berlin. The final score was 88-81 as the Bavarians had the lead for most of the game and despite its efforts, Alba couldn’t threaten them.
To be exact, Alba had a 30-24 lead after first quarter, but then scored just 9 points in the second period, the score at half time was 44-39 and Bayern never looked back. Malcolm Delaney had 16 points for the winners and Reggie Redding scored 22 for Alba.
