Unics Kazan has still work to do in order to reach its full potentials, however the Russian team managed to get the 82-71 win over Hapoel Jerusalem and needs one more in the final of the qualifying tournament against ASVEL in order to get to Euroleague’s regular season.
During the first half, Hapoel managed to get even a ten points lead (41-31), but the tables were turned during the third quarter, Unics led by 16 points (70-54) in the start of the last period and finally prevailed. Nikos Zisis with 15 points and 6 assists proved to be the key player for the winners and the catalyst in the third period. Four more players scored in double digits for Unics, while Hapoel had just 42% in two pointers and 31% in threes.
