The first defeat of Bayern Munich in BEKO BBL is a fact thanks to a 35 years old NCAA legend. Khalid El Amin, NCAA champion of 1999 with Connecticut, led Gottingen with 20 points and 8 assists to the impressive 95-81 road win and Alba Berlin remained the only unbeaten team in the league.
The Berliners destroyed win-less Crailsheim (93-65) on the road and have a perfect 5-0 record, followed by Bayern, Artland, Oldenburg, Brose Baskets and Mitteldeutscher at 4-1.
