Fenerbahce/ Ulker and Crvena Zvezda made one more step towards the Top16 by prevailing at home over Turow and Neptunas respectively. The Turkish team had an easier task over the Polish champions, while Zvezda needed a big third quarter.
In what was an off night for Marcus Williams, Neptunas finished the first half with a two points lead (37-35) at Belgrade. Order was restored in the third period with a partial score 27-10 for the hosts (62-47) who got even a 21 points lead (75-54) with five minutes left on the game. Boban Marjanovic (24 p., 12 r., 3 as.) once again was the leader of the winners and Jaka Blazic (19 p., 8 r.) was his partner. The final score was 79-62 for Zvezda.
For Fenerbahce the situation was much simpler. The Turks got a double digits lead from the first quarter (26-12) and never looked back. The best Turow did was make it a seven points game twice in the third period, before surrendering completely with the hosts starting the last period with a 9-1 run (74-54). Nemanja Bjelica with 16 points and 10 rebounds was the best in a balanced team effort on the way to a 89-74 win.
