Final for Strasbourg at last

After a thrilling game which was decided in overtime, Strasburg beat Dijon 79-72 and qualified for the final of the Coupe de France for the first time since 1999.

Diot sank 2/2 free throws 15 seconds before the end. Strasbourg tied the game (66-66) and Walker lost the last shot at the buzzer. During overtime Strasburg was better. Diot and Lelour were unstoppable and the leaders of ProA will have the chance for their first ever Leaders Cup win tomorrow.

Diot (22p.) and Leloup (17p.) were the top scorers for the winners. The leading scorer from Dijon, which lost a very good chance to get to the final for the first time since 2006, was Gray (19p.)

Strasbourg will face Le Mans on Sunday ´s final. After another thrilling match, Le Mans prevailed over Nancy 64-62. Le Mans survived, having Kahudi as the best scorer (15p.). For Nancy “Kiki” Clark scored 18 points.
