Tortona had a great start in the game, leading 26-20 after the first quarter. And then Milos Teodosic took over and Virtus Bologna never looked back.  The Serb guard had 17 points and five assists in 18 minutes of action, on the way to a 91-70 win that gave Virtus a 2-0 lead in the Italian Legabasket Seria A semifinals.

Toko Shengelia added 13 points as Virtus led even by 17 (72-55) at the end of the third quarter and kept its distance until the end, building a 25-point advantage (91-66). Both Teodosic and Shengelia didn’t play in the last period which ended up being a formality.

Niccolo Mannion and Amadeo Tessitori added 10 points each for Virtus. JP Macura with 18 points was the top scorer of the losing side.

With the best-of-five series moving to Tortona’s home court, Virtus needs one more win to make it to the league finals.

In the other semifinal couple, Olimpia Milano got an easy 1-0 lead by beating Sassari by 17 points (88-71).
