Virtus Bologna and Olimpia Milan hold on top of LBA

Virtus Segafredo Bologna and EA7 Emporio Armani Milan stay together on top of the standings after Round 17 of Italy’s LBA Serie A Regular Season.

Sergio Scariolo’s side held on for the home win, 87-82, versus Tezenis Verona Sunday. Jordan Mickey was the top performer with 16 points and seven rebounds. Marco Belinelli chipped in 14 points and four assists. Leading the visitors, Giordano Bortolani registered a game-high 20 points.

Nicolo Melli was ruled out joining Kevin Pangos (knee), Tommaso Baldasso (hand), and Shavon Shields on the list of unavailable players for the team coached by Ettore Messina. Kyle Hines and Johannes Voigtmann sat out as well.
