Olimpia Milano is the new champion of Italy, as they defeated Reyer Venezia 86-72 in Game 4 away.
Olimpia had won the title three years in a row, but their streak was broken last year by Virtus Bologna.
However, Peppe Poeta brought Milano back to the top with a series win in four games. Armoni Brooks finished the match in Venice with 15 points, as did Marko Guduric, while Shavon Shields scored 12. Josh Nebo also reached double digits with 10 points and eight rebounds.
On the other side, RJ Cole had 16 points, Amedeo Tessitori 15 with ten rebounds, Ky Bowman 12, and Jordan Parks had ten points.
Reyer Venezia managed to extend the series in the third game, but they failed to do the same in the fourth match, as they easily fell in front of their fans.
Venezia held on in the first half, which Olimpia finished with a five-point lead (45-40) thanks to a three-pointer in the last attack. Gradually Milano increased the difference, and in the end, with a 6-0 run, they went to 86-71, after which there was no turning back.
After winning the Italian Cup, Olimpia finished the season with a double crown.
