It wasn’t easy, but Milan got the 89-82 home win over Dolomiti Energia Trento and qualified for the Serie A Legabasket semifinals with a 3-1 score.
Shavon Shields had one of his best games of the season with 27 points, Leandro Bolmaro scored 17, and the duo of Nikola Mirotic and Armoni Brooks added 14 points each, on a game which was all about offense.
On the other side, Jordan Ford scored 19 points in the last game of coach Paolo Galbiati on the bench of Trento.
The club already announced Galbiati’s departure, and per Eurohoops sources, coach Massimo Cancellieri, who led Greek club PAOK to the final of the FIBA Europe Cup, is ready to return to his home country and sign with Trento for next season.
