The Sacramento Kings have included former EuroLeague champion Trajan Langdon in the list of candidates for the position of president of basketball operations, according to The Athletic’s Shams Charania and Sam Amick.

Langdon is among the executives that the Kings have requested permission to interview for their next head of basketball operations. The post has been vacant after Vlade Divac stepped down following the Kings’ failure to advance to the playoffs.

Langdon has been the New Orleans Pelicans general manager since 2019. The 2006 and 2008 EuroLeague champion plus 2008 Final Four MVP with CSKA Moscow was previously an assistant general manager with the Brooklyn Nets after beginning his post-playing career as a scout.

Other candidates for the position that Kings are looking to interview are Minnesota Timberwolves executive vice president Sachin Gupta, Miami Heat assistant general manager Adam Simon, Denver Nuggets general manager Calvin Booth, Houston Rockets assistant GM Monte McNair and former Hawks GM Wes Wilcox.
