Murray, Jokic help Nuggets bounce back in Game 5

The Denver Nuggets overcame the Los Angeles Clippers with a 111-105 victory on Friday in Game 5, to extend the series. Clippers still lead 3-2.

Jamal Murray helped the Nuggets in all sides of the court with 26 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists across his 40-minute presence, while Nikola Jokic posted a double-double of 22 points, 14 rebounds in 40 minutes as well.

Paul Millsap ignited Denver by scoring 14 of his 17 points in the third quarter, Michael Porter Jr. made a late 3-pointer and the Nuggets overcame a 15-point deficit in the second half.

Kawhi Leonard scored 36 points, Paul George added 26 points for the Los Angeles side, that is seeking its first appearance in the Western Conference finals. They’re 0-6 all-time in games where they could win their ticket to the conference finals.
