The Bucks are expected to offer a super-max extension this offseason to Giannis Antetokounmpo that will pay him around $254 million over five years and the first step towards this direction may have already happened.

According to Yahoo Sports, the Greek Freak “met with ownership Saturday afternoon to discuss the future of the franchise”. Bucks co-owner Marc Lasry was present in the meeting that was held on the day that Giannis made headlines after unfollowing hundreds on Twitter and Instagram, including the Bucks’ team account and his teammates’ accounts.

Antetokounmpo is eligible for an extension, however he also has a contract with the Bucks until next summer.

It’s not a secret that most NBA teams are following closely Giannis and would love to lure him with Miami, Toronto and Golden State being among the most interested possible suitors.
