Ersan Ilyasova is being waived by the Milwaukee Bucks according to Shams Charania of The Athletic. The veteran Turkish forward was previously reported to be a part of a trade that would send him and other Bucks players to the Sacramento Kings in exchange for Bogdan Bogdanovic. That deal was later reported to be off the table due to Bogdanovic wanting to test the free agency.

Ilyasova spent the last two seasons with the Bucks for his third stint in Milwaukee. He averaged 6.6 points and 4.8 rebounds in 15.7 minutes, mostly off the bench, over 66 games of the 2019-2020 regular season.

The Bucks were the first NBA team of Ilyasova’s 12-year run in the NBA, when he joined them in 2006. He spent the bulk of his NBA career in Milwaukee, playing 618 regular season and NBA games with the team.
