DeMarcus Cousins has agreed to sign a one-year, non-guaranteed deal with the Houston Rockets, as he told Marc Spears of ESPN’s The Undefeated. “Grateful for the opportunity and excited for what’s ahead,” mentioned the 30-year-old player.

Four-time All-Star Cousins tore his ACL during the 2019 offseason and remained sidelined for its entirety after working his way back from a torn Achilles in February 2018 while playing for the Pelicans. His injury caused his value in free agency to plummet and Cousins signed with the Golden State Warriors for $5.3 million that summer.

Cousins has career averages of 21.2 points, 10.9 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game.
