Joakim Noah heading to retirement

Joakim Noah is likely to retire after the Los Angeles Clippers waive him, per ESPN.

Noah, 35, has spent 13 seasons in the NBA, nine of those with the Chicago Bulls. He went on to the New York Knicks and the Memphis Grizzlies and played in five more matches last season attached to the Clippers rising his overall total to 732.

“What an illustrious career for Joakim, starting with two national titles at the University of Florida, to becoming an NBA Defensive Player of the Year and ultimately evolving into one of the most passionate, spirited players to ever come through our sport.” his agent Bill Duffy told ESPN, “It’s been my honor to represent Joakim through his journey.”

On incoming players for the Clippers, the team announced the addition of Nicolas Batum and the resigning of Reggie Jackson. Ky Bowman, Malik Fitts, Jordan Ford, and Rayjon Tucker also inked a deal.
