Europeans had a pretty exciting night in the NBA as Luka Doncic and Clint Capela put on some historic performances.

Doncic logged 13 points, 12 assists, and 12 rebounds for his 30th career triple-double, joining Magic Johnson and Oscar Robertson when it comes to reaching that milestone in the fewest number of games.

In fact, he did it in 146 games while Johnson needed 190 and Robertson just 75.

The Mavs won 124-112 against Indiana with Kristaps Porzingis adding 27 points and 13 rebounds while on the opposing side, Domantas Sabonis had 25 points and ten rebounds.

Clint Capela also had a big night in Atlanta’s 123-115 overtime win over Detroit with 27 points, 26 rebounds and five blocks.

The Swiss big became the first player to put up at least 25 points, 25 rebounds and five blocks since Shaquille O’Neal back in 2004. The only other players to accomplish this are Dikembe Mutombo, Patrick Ewing and Hakeem Olajuwon.

Trae Young scored 38 and John Collins 31 points. For Detroit, Jerami Grant had 32.

Nikola Vucevic logged 28 points and eight rebounds for Orlando in a 97-96 win over Minnesota as the Magic snap a six-game skid.

Vucevic has been putting on big performances recently but couldn’t get his team over the hump. Evan Fournier helped with that last night, scoring 24 points. Cole Anthony was the hero though as he banked in two straight threes in the final minute to steal the win.

The biggest surprise of the night came in Cleveland. The Cavaliers went to double-overtime against the Brooklyn Nets and grabbed a 147-135 win.

Collin Sexton was the man of the night with 42 points including 20 straight in overtime, as well as the three-pointer to force the second one, while Cedi Osman followed with 25.

Brooklyn’s loss comes in the first match since Kyrie Irving’s return as he completes the trio with Kevin Durant and James Harden.

Durant logged 38 points, 12 rebounds, eight assists while James Harden had 21 points, 12 assists and ten boards. Kyrie Irving, in only his second game in Cleveland since parting ways with the team, scored 37 points.
