NBA confirms two new positive COVID-19 tests among players

The NBA announced that two players returned positive results in COVID-19 tests performed the last week. Five players were found positive the previous week.

Per the press release: “Of the 455 players tested for COVID-19 since Feb. 17, 2 new players have returned confirmed positive tests.

Anyone who has returned a confirmed positive test, or has been identified as having been in close contact to an infected person, is isolated or quarantined until they are cleared under the rules established by the NBA and the Players Association in accordance with CDC guidance.”

Nov. 24 – Dec. 1: 48
Dec. 2 – Dec. 9: 8
Dec. 10 – Dec. 16: 1
Dec. 17 – Dec. 23: 2
Dec.24 – Dec. 29: 0
Dec. 30 – Jan. 5: 4
Jan. 6 – Jan. 12: 16
Jan. 13 – Jan. 19: 11
Jan 20. – Jan. 26: 1
Jan 27. – Feb. 2: 0
Feb. 3 – Feb. 9: 1
Feb. 10 – Feb. 16: 5
Feb. 17 – Feb. 23: 2
