Nikola Jokic logs 34-15-9 in overtime win, Orlando takes down Brooklyn

Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray scored 34 points each as they led the Denver Nuggets to a 131-127 overtime win against the Chicago Bulls.

Jokic shot 14-23 from the field while also adding 15 rebounds, nine assists, two steals, and one block. On the opposing side, Zach LaVine had 32 and Otto Porter 22 points. Lauri Markkanen scored ten and Tomas Staoransky eight points.

Meanwhile, the Orlando Magic finally got back to winning after nine straight losses and they did it against none other than the top Eastern Conference team, the Brooklyn Nets, with 121-113 on the scoreboard.

Aaron Gordon dominated the floor with 38 points followed by Evan Fournier with 31 and Nikola Vucevic with 22 points, 14 rebounds, and eight assists. Kyrie Irving was huge for the Nets with 43 points.

The Dallas Mavericks continue with ups and downs this season as they fell to the Portland Trail Blazers, 125-119. Errick McCollum led the winners with 32 points while Damian Lillard was right behind with 31.

Enes Kanter added 14 points and nine boards while, on the other side, Luka Doncic went for 38-9-9 with some help from Tim Hardaway Jr with 25 points. Maxi Kleber had 16 and Kristaps Porzingis 11 points.

Ricky Rubio logged one of his better performances this season with 21 points, ten assists, and five rebounds but the Minnesota Timberwolves lost to the Phoenix Suns 113-101.

Rudy Gobert had 14 points and 16 rebounds as the Jazz got past Toronto to bounce back while Domantas Sabonis logged 13 and 15 in Indiana’s convincing win against the Heat whose Goran Dragic scored 16 points.
