Jason Kidd would be interested in taking over UNLV, according to Las Vegas Review-Journal.

The Runnin’ Rebels looking for the 17th head coach in school history are intrigued by the possibility of replacing T.J. Otzelberger with Kidd, as noted in the report.

Kidd, 47, is an assistant coach at the Los Angeles Lakers. He previously recorded a 183-190 head-coaching record between the Brooklyn Nets and Milwaukee Bucks.

He was inducted as a player into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2018.
