Nikola Jokic’s 53rd career triple-double wasn’t enough to save the Denver Nuggets (25-17) that fell to the New Orleans Pelicans (18-24) 113-108 on Sunday. The Pelicans bounced back from a two-game slip with this win, while also ending the Nuggets’ three-game winning streak.

Jokic had 27 points, 11 assists and 10 rebounds to lead the Nuggets that fell short in the fourth quarter. On the other end, Zion Williamson and Brandon Ingram had their way, with 30 points each for the Pelicans, that outscored their hosts 14-8 in the last couple of minutes.

Jamal Murray added 25 points for the Nuggets and Michael Porter Jr. had 17, while Facu Campazzo left the game with 2 rebounds and 2 assists.
