It took seven threes in the Golden State Warriors’ 117-113 win against the Sacramento Kings on Sunday for Stephen Curry to surpass James Harden and set a new record in the league with 85 three-pointers scored during the month of April.

Harden had previously set the record to 82 three-pointers in November 2019 with the Houston Rockets.

Curry entered the game with the record for the most three-pointers in a season (402) and second-most of a career (2,761), has more games with double-digit three-pointers this month (four) than games with fewer than four three-pointers (two), as he is trying to keep the Warriors in the playoffs race in the Western Conference (31-30).
