Dejan Milojevic joining Golden State Warriors staff

Buducnost VOLI head coach Dejan Milojevic will move to the NBA and the Golden State Warriors, per Montenegrin outlet Vijesti. He officially parted ways with the Montenegrin club on Thursday.

Milojevic, 44, was hired by Buducnost in January inking a contract until the conclusion of the 2022-23 season with an NBA-out clause. He since lifted both league and cup titles at the domestic level, and also reached the ABA League Finals.

The former player’s previous head coaching job was at Mega and lasted eight years. He tutored Nikola Jokic, Boban Marjanovic, Vasilije Micic, and others coming out of the Serbian team based in Belgrade.

On to his next stop, the Serbian coach will provide his assistance under head coach Steve Kerr.
