Four-time All Star DeMarcus Cousins is signing with the Bucks a one-year non guaranteed contract, as Shams Charania first reported.

The Bucks kept an open roster spot and they decided that they needed size as they are still waiting the return of Brook Lopez to action. Cousins played well for Clippers in significant stretches a season ago, and stayed in shape awaiting an opportunity while remaining a free agent.

Once considered a franchise player, the 31-years old center was an All-Star between 2015 and 2018.

Since then, he bounced around the Pelicans, the Warriors, the Rockets and the Clippers coming mainly off the bench. He has also battled with injuries, however he remains a force in the paint.

He is also a two-time gold medal winner as a member of the United States national team, winning his first in 2014 at the FIBA Basketball World Cup and his second in 2016 at the Rio Olympics.
