Phoenix Suns star Devin Booker will be out for “a few games” according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski. Booker suffered a hamstring injury in the second quarter during the win of his team over the Golden State Warriors Tuesday (30/12).

While the injury is described as “minor,” the Suns want to be cautious with Booker and avoid taking any unnecessary risk. They are tied with the Warriors for the best record (18-3) in the NBA after their victory over the Oakland side.

Booker was coming off a hot set of performances that contributed to the Suns reaching a franchise record-tying 17 wins in a row. He averaged 30.0 points (shooting 53 percent from the field, including 56 percent on 3-pointers), 3.5 assists and 2.3 rebounds for the Suns from 23/11 to 28/11, winning Player of the Week in the Western Conference.

Overall in 2021-22, Booker has been posting 23.2 points, 4.9 rebounds and 4.5 assists.
