Boston Celtics forward Juancho Hernangomez has been traded to the San Antonio Spurs, as reported by ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski. Hernangomez is part of a three-way deal, that also sends Bryn Forbes to the Denver Nuggets and the Celtics are receiving Bol Bol and P.J. Dozier.

Besides Hernangomez, the Spurs are also expected to receive a Denver 2028 second-round pick, per Wojnarowski.

The trade took place just a few days after Real Madrid has been reported to strongly target Hernangomez for next season. So far in the 2021-22 campaign, Hernangomez has participated in 18 contests with the Celtics, with an average of 1.1 points and 1.4 rebounds across limited time on the court and his future in the NBA seems uncertain.
